Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting 2019

The sixth annual Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting  offers practitioners, research investigators and trainees opportunities to learn about the latest discoveries and product development in maternal and paternal pre-conception health for neonatal health, and fetal and newborn health research for application to maternal and newborn primary care and policy.

The program boasts several plenary lectures, including presentations on Indigenous health by Professor Gina Muckle (Laval University), and the impact of the early life environment on growth, development and health throughout the life course, by Dr. Tessa Roseboom (Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands).

Lawson Centre Professor Dan Sellen will present a workshop on Canadian policy frameworks for improving perinatal and early childhood nutrition for Indigenous families.
